Isopods

Isopods are arthropods like crabs, shrimp, and barnacles. There are more than 10,000 species of isopod across the world, but they all have a few similar characteristics. Isopods have segmented bodies, antennae, and limbs known as “pleopods”. At Haystack Rock isopods are often found in kelp or in rock crevices.
